Funny Girl at the Scera Shell!

We are super excited to go see our own Bethany Simmons as the lead role, Fanny Brice, in the Scera's production of Funny Girl.
We will be going as a book group on the night of June 18, and we will plan on meeting at the entrance at 7:30 sharp.

We need a head count of who is coming and how many tickets each person needs. The ticket cost is $14/person. Please RSVP here via "comment" if you would like to go with us and how many tickets you'd like by Monday, May 31st.

Obviously, if the night we voted on doesn't work for you, you are welcome to go support Bethany any other night that does work! :)

ECLIPSE!!!

Kami purchased 23 tickets for the 8:45 show on June 30. So far, ten of those have been claimed and paid for. If you would like to purchase one of these tickets to go see the show with us, please RSVP here and we'll have Kami get a hold of you to work out $ details!

June Plans

We have two exciting events planned for the month of June! There will be no book this month...instead we will be attending a play, Funny Girl and a movie, Eclipse!!!!!

Our very own BETHANY BUCK SIMMONS is starring in Funny Girl at the Scera Shell from June 10-21 (excluding Wednesdays and Sundays). Yes, that's right she has the LEAD ROLE of Fanny Brice! WOOT! WOOT! We have not picked a specific date to go but will do so at May's book club meeting on the 21st. Tickets range from $10-$14 depending on what seating we want. If you are interested but can't attend May's meeting PLEASE let one of us know so we can reserve a ticket for you!

As you all know Eclispe comes out on June 30! We will be attending the 7:00pm showing that night at the Thanksgiving Point Theatre. KAMI will be purchasing the tickets this time and assures me she know how the read theatre maps much better than myself so hopefully we won't be front row Joes this time (did I mention how sorry I am!) She will be getting tickets as soon as they go on sale so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, RSVP ASAP! Tickets are $9. Here are the people I have down for tickets so far: Sara, Maren, Megan ,Kami, Deanna, Debbie, Natalie, Kaily, and Macy.

May's Book Club- CHANGE OF DATE
