Funny Girl this Friday!

Just wanted to touch base with everyone about Funny Girl this friday. Just to remind you we will met in front of the Scera Shell at 7:30pm... the show starts at 8:00pm. We are in "A" seating which mean we are at the front and chairs will be provided and set up for us. There are no reserved seats so let get there with enough time to have our pick! Also, I am sure there are plenty of tickets left so if anyone else wants to join us then please do!You can purchase a tickets that night at the box office. These are the people who I have purchased tickets for already: Sara, Trisha, Kami, Megan, Macy and myself (+1). See you all there!

Oh yeah, and everyone can pay me for their ticket that night ($14)! Thanks!

Funny Girl at the Scera Shell!

We are super excited to go see our own Bethany Simmons as the lead role, Fanny Brice, in the Scera's production of Funny Girl.
We will be going as a book group on the night of June 18, and we will plan on meeting at the entrance at 7:30 sharp.

We need a head count of who is coming and how many tickets each person needs. The ticket cost is $14/person. Please RSVP here via "comment" if you would like to go with us and how many tickets you'd like by Monday, May 31st.

Obviously, if the night we voted on doesn't work for you, you are welcome to go support Bethany any other night that does work! :)

ECLIPSE!!!

Kami purchased 23 tickets for the 8:45 show on June 30. So far, ten of those have been claimed and paid for. If you would like to purchase one of these tickets to go see the show with us, please RSVP here and we'll have Kami get a hold of you to work out $ details!

June Plans

We have two exciting events planned for the month of June! There will be no book this month...instead we will be attending a play, Funny Girl and a movie, Eclipse!!!!!

Our very own BETHANY BUCK SIMMONS is starring in Funny Girl at the Scera Shell from June 10-21 (excluding Wednesdays and Sundays). Yes, that's right she has the LEAD ROLE of Fanny Brice! WOOT! WOOT! We have not picked a specific date to go but will do so at May's book club meeting on the 21st. Tickets range from $10-$14 depending on what seating we want. If you are interested but can't attend May's meeting PLEASE let one of us know so we can reserve a ticket for you!

As you all know Eclispe comes out on June 30! We will be attending the 7:00pm showing that night at the Thanksgiving Point Theatre. KAMI will be purchasing the tickets this time and assures me she know how the read theatre maps much better than myself so hopefully we won't be front row Joes this time (did I mention how sorry I am!) She will be getting tickets as soon as they go on sale so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, RSVP ASAP! Tickets are $9. Here are the people I have down for tickets so far: Sara, Maren, Megan ,Kami, Deanna, Debbie, Natalie, Kaily, and Macy.

As always friends/family are welcome to join us just let us know how many tickets you will be buying. Please plan on paying for your tickets at the May meeting! Thanks and love to you all!

February Book Club

Hi girls - I am so excited to finally be able to attend Book Club again, after a 2 month hiatus. It helps, though, when you are the one in charge of it!

Okay, so just a reminder:

The Book: "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak

The Date: February 26th, 2010

The Place: 4106 North Edgewood Drive, Provo**

**This is the same place I did the "Three Cups of Tea" Book Club last summer. It is near the RiverWoods shopping center in Provo.

Directions: Take the Orem Center Street exit off the freeway and take that all the way through Orem, down into Provo (this is where the RiverWoods theatre and shopping center is). Turn Right on University Ave. and go about 1/4 mile down to the 2nd traffic stop (Will's Pit Stop will be on your right). Turn Right next to Wills Pit Stop and then your immediate right after the gas station is Edgewood Drive (there is a horse stable on your left). Follow this road past about 6 houses, and the house will be on your right: 4106 N. Edgewood Drive.
